Harley-Davidson Softail description

AN UNFORGETTABLE DARK PROFILE WITH AN EVEN DARKER SOUL.
A narrow front wheel, drag-style bar on risers and forward controls. In other words, if you’re going to ride, ride it like you mean it. Your rear end down low in the Badlander® seat. Everything else in the wind. The black powder-coated engine and six-speed transmission for pure joy on the wide-open road. The more metal parts you look at, the more textures of black you see. There’s a 200-millimeter rear tire under the bobtail fender. Bullet headlamp out front. With a riding position few others dare, this bike overshadows more than just blacktop.

This 2008 Harley-Davidson FXSTB Softail Night Train with only 2,043 miles is showroom clean and in excellent condition. The Black Denim paint looks great and is almost perfect except for a very small scratch on the tip of the front fender. The seat looks good and has no rips or tears. The tires aren't even broken in yet. This garage kept Night Train runs, rides, shifts and looks like new, but why wouldn't it with only 2,043 miles. The previous owner added an Exile exhaust, a Screaming Eagle Air Kit and a cool set of Avon grips. This bike is ready to ride today! Call us at 800-807-9910 with any questions you may have or to get a sweet deal on this sweet ride right now. Check our feedback and bid with confidence. Thanks for looking and good luck!

Harley-Davidson Breakout Recall Caused by Fuel Tank Angle

Fri, 25 Apr 2014

An official recall announcement by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration sheds some light on the cause of a recall campaign on 2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout and CVO Breakout models. We wrote about the recall last week, after campaigns were initiated in Canada and Australia to address a problem with the fuel sensors not properly reading the correct volume of fuel. We now know the problem is caused by the angle of the fuel tank.

Most Obvious Press Release Of 2013: Biker Chicks Sexier Than Pedestrians

Tue, 31 Dec 2013

In a misallocation of funds Harley-Davidson recently spent an untold buttload of money proving something men have known for years: That women who ride motorcycles are sexier and better between the sheets than women who don’t ride. Common responses from male motorcyclists to the press release were: Duh; Tell me something I didn’t already know; Can I be a recruiter? Meant to entice non-riding females into the Harley-Davidson army by pimping the Bar & Shield’s website, www.h-d.com/women, the press release was peppered with effeminate catchphrases such as “physical intimacy, “communication,” and “improves relationships” but the basal message is one of female motorcyclists being sexier, happier and more confident than their non-riding counterparts.

What’s next for Polaris?

Wed, 20 May 2009

Polaris Industries, the parent company of Victory Motorcycles, announced this week it will form a new on-road vehicle division. The official announcement says the new division “maximizes cohesive and strategic growth for Victory Motorcycles and other on-road products and brands”. Which begs the question: what other on-road products and brands?
