Harley-Davidson Softail description

You are looking at a 2005 Harley Davidson Softail Springer Classic 88CU (1450cc) cruiser motorcycle. I am the second owner and the bike has been a Florida bike its entire life. Bike has 18998 miles on it. Overall, the bike is in great shape. There are three minor issues with it: The headlight bulb needs to be changed out because the low beam is burned out. The ignition lock is not working but intact. (the fork lock works fine and that's what I have been using without issues). The gas gauge is stuck on empty. (using odometer to track gas mileage). The bike is getting a little over 150 miles on a tank of gas. This has been my everyday short distance driver for some time. The bike will also include a motorcycle cover and windscreen that were both purchased after I got the bike. I am located in Jacksonville FL by NAS Jacksonville.

Easy Rider 40th Anniversary

Tue, 27 Oct 2009

Peter Fonda, who played Wyatt in the 1969 cult classic, Easy Rider, was in Glendale, CA on Friday to help promote the Blu-Ray release of the film which marks the 40th anniversary.  The movie was scheduled to be shown at the Love Ride event that was canceled this year, instead the film screened at a local Harley-Davidson dealer. One of the film’s main objective was to expose violence and racism in the U.S. in a negative light but instead it seems that it was taken the wrong way with most, glorifying the lifestyle that was portrayed in the film.

A former Buell engineer, Askenazi joined Zero Motorcycles in 2010 as vice president of engineering where he played a vital role in developing the company’s 2011 line-up, overhauling over 80% of Zero’s existing electric motorcycle line-up while adding the Zero XU and street legal versions of the Zero X and Zero MX in just 10 months on the job. “Abe’s ability to effectively execute on an aggressive product development plan, select the best new technologies and rally his team is remarkable.
