This 2005 Harley Davidson Softail Heritage Classic Fire Fighter Edition is in excellent condition. The bike has 29766 miles on it and the tires are in good condition. This bike has the Fire Fighter badge on the primary cover and the badge commemorating 911 NYPD Ladder 15 and the 2994 victims that were lost that day. The Heritage will propel you forward while sending you back in time all at once. This bike has the following upgrades and add ons... smooth profile wheels, stage 1 kit, and Vance & Hines short shot pipes. The bike has been left mostly stock so it is a good candidate for your own custom touches. There are a few marks on the rear fender by the seat (can be seen in photos). This bike is road ready and looking for a new garage to live in. Bike has gone thru a full service and maintenance inspection. Price is negotiable and outside financing can be offered. Harley-Davidson's Production Stoppage Was Caused by Non-compliant Brake Lines

Production ramps up to meet year-end targets Back in May, Harley-Davidson announced it would temporarily halt motorcycle production due to a “regulatory compliance matter” regarding an unspecified part from a third-party supplier. Harley-Davidson initially estimated the stoppage would last two weeks but it eventually lasted 19 days before production resumed on June 6. The actual cause for the delay remained unclear some speculating the issue was related to the powertrains, as the stoppage only affected Harley-Davidson’s gas engine-powered motorcycles and not the electric LiveWires.

2015 Harley-Davidson CVO Lineup Revealed

Louisiana Bill Updates Maximum Handlebar Height Legislation

Louisiana state lawmakers have approved a bill that would change the maximum height of motorcycle handlebars. Current state law restricts handlebar height to no more than 15 inches above the seat, a somewhat arbitrary level, but a common choice with 17 other states. The House has voted 87-0 in favor of Senate Bill 582 to change the maximum height to the rider’s shoulder level, as measured while sitting on the seat.
