This 2005 Harley Davidson Softail Heritage Classic Fire Fighter Edition is in excellent condition. The bike has 29766 miles on it and the tires are in good condition. This bike has the Fire Fighter badge on the primary cover and the badge commemorating 911 NYPD Ladder 15 and the 2994 victims that were lost that day. The Heritage will propel you forward while sending you back in time all at once. This bike has the following upgrades and add ons... smooth profile wheels, stage 1 kit, and Vance & Hines short shot pipes. The bike has been left mostly stock so it is a good candidate for your own custom touches. There are a few marks on the rear fender by the seat (can be seen in photos). This bike is road ready and looking for a new garage to live in. Bike has gone thru a full service and maintenance inspection. Price is negotiable and outside financing can be offered. The warranty covers engine, transmission, primary drive, drive axel, front and rear suspension, steering, brakes, electrical, gauges, fuel system and seals and gaskets. On January 9, 2014, during the fourth annual Las Vegas Sale of motorcycles at Bally’s Hotel and Casino, Bonhams, the world’s largest auction house for cars, motorcycles and memorabilia, will be auctioning off over 50 motorcycles from the extensive Wayne Pierce family museum collection, all offered at no reserve. Among the machines is a first-year Harley-Davidson Sportster believed to be the 10th XL883 produced in 1957, a 1933 Harley VLE police bike that saw actual duty on the streets of Chicago before being cast in the 1987 Kevin Costner gangster movie, “The Untouchables,” and an authentic and unrestored 1947 Harley Knucklehead wearing period aftermarket accessories. Wayne “Pappy” Pierce started his Harley-Davidson dealership in 1957, run out of a one-room tin shed in DeKalb, Illinois.

Marlon Brando Estate Files Suit Against Harley-Davidson

Brando Enterprises, an operating entity that protects the Marlon Brando brand on behalf of the actor’s family, has filed a lawsuit against Harley-Davidson. The suit alleges Harley-Davidson used the legendary actor’s name without a license for a leather riding boot called “The Brando”. “It is interesting that Harley-Davidson – a company that is vigorously protective of its own brand – would seek to exploit an iconic property without benefit of a licensing agreement,” says Jeffrey I.
