Harley-Davidson Softail description

When the front end of a motorcycle knocks your socks off, you know you’ve got something special. The Springer leading-link front suspension looks as good as it did on a ’48 Panhead, and the hardtail styling with hidden horizontal rear shocks gives the bike even a more nostalgic style. The beach-style handlebar is wide and pulled back and provides for a very comfortable riding position with a low seat height, wind protection, passenger room, and luggage space. There are large floorboards, the passenger pillion detaches in seconds for a quick change from two-up to one-up seating, and the tombstone taillight ties the bike back to an era gone by.

The bike was delivered from the factory in rich sunglo blue, and features a twin cam 88B 1450 cm motor, with steel laced wheels front and rear. The bike is equipped with an electronic speedometer, odometer, resettable trip-meter, and diagnostic readout with indicators lights for oil pressure and engine diagnostics.

The bike has only 4,698 miles, and is amazingly clean. There is only one chip on the entire bike, which is on the front fender and is about the size of a pen tip. The bike comes with a second saddle for a different look, a Harley Duffle bag which mounts to the sissy bar, owner’s manual, and full service manual. The bike has also been outfitted with the following Harley Davidson Original Accessories;
