This bike is as close to new as you can get for a 2003! I paid a premium for this bike due to its condition and the work that has been done to it. I just got it off the dyno at our Harley dealer and it is putting nearly 100HP and 100TQ to the pavement! This is an S&S Big Bore 95ci 1550cc kit, with the S&S carb and breather kit, and 585G gear driven cams. The bike is finely tuned and runs and drives perfectly. The sound is incredible but not for the faint hearted... It put out these numbers with large diameter drag pipes!! I have a video of it on the dyno a few months ago if you search youtube for "03 Night Train Dyno". The paint scheme is done in Candy Apple Red over the original black 100th Anniversary paint and looks amazing. The quality of the paint is top notch and cost over $2,000 alone. The seat is a custom red flame seat. They make a matching flame pillion pad here on ebay if you want, but i never had a passenger and didn't want to cover up the paint on the rear fender. This bike recently had a $300 high torque starter put in and it fires off in a second. The grips are custom Arlen Ness grips. There is a leather tool pouch behind the front tire. I was going to get a swing arm bag like on my wifes 2015 Forty Eight that is also for sale on Ebay right now, but never bought one. Please don't hesitate to call me at 319-231-8974. The bike only has 10,500 miles but I am driving it now so it may have some more before the auction ends. I do have it for sale locally, so don't be surprised if this ad disappears. Harley-Davidson Financial Services to Refund $228,000 in Settlement
Thu, 12 Jun 2014Harley-Davidson Financial Services agreed to reimburse more than 600 customers in Massachusetts a total of $228,000 to resolve a dispute over refunding enrollment fees on loans. Customers receiving financing occasionally pay optional enrollment fees for additional special loan terms. If a customer pays off its financing loan ahead of schedule, they may be entitled to a pro-rated refund on those enrollment fees.

Tue, 06 Sep 2011Chris Fillmore of Oxford, Mich., has won the 2011 AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Championship. Fillmore ended the season on a victorious note, winning the 2011 AMA Pro Road Racing season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park. The Bruce Rossmeyer/Geico racer finished the season with five wins and eight podium appearances in nine races in the Harley-Davidson XR1200 spec racing series.
