I'm selling my 2001 Harley Davidson Fat Boy for $7,500 OBO. The power train has around 33k miles on it, while almost everything else is brand new. It has new handlebars, headlight, custom tail lights and rear turn signals, custom rear fender, side saddle bag, custom license plate mount, new exhaust wrap, new l.e.d. fuel gauge (needs calibration with an empty tank), new single seat, painted wheels, as well as a fresh paint job done last winter. Scheduled Harley-Davidson activities include the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building, the XR1200 Racing Experience, Muscular Dystrophy Association pin sale and custom motorcycle raffle and the Harley-Davidson Ride-In Show.
US Highland Making a Comeback
Thu, 13 Oct 2011US Highland appears to be making a comeback, announcing plans to begin processing new orders and having discussions with several OEMs for the use of the Oklahoma company’s powertrains. The Tulsa-based company did not mention which OEMs it is working with, though US Highland says the discussions could result in sales of over 20,000 units per year. The company is developing fuel injected V-Twin engines in 750cc, 950cc and 1050cc displacements and Singles in 350cc, 450cc and 507cc displacements.
