Harley-Davidson Softail description

You are looking at my 2000 FXST with 20,159 original miles on it. I am the original owner and have performed all of the updates since new. The engine build is fresh with around a 1000 miles since completed. It runs perfect and very strong. It starts like stock due to EZ start camshafts but runs super strong.

Here is a list of what the motor has updated, 95 C.I., CNC ported heads with matched Intake, 585 EZ start S&S cams, S&S gear drive for cams, Fueling oil pump, lifters, and billet cam support plate, Screamin' eagle adjustable push rods, programmable ignition module, TP roller rockers with Screamin' eagle forged rocker supports, S&S super G carburetor, 10.5 : 1 forged pistons with brand new Harley cylinders, Barnett Scorpion clutch.

Other updated features include, chrome lower legs on front fork, chrome engine accents (all genuine H-D), chrome H-D wheels front 5 star & rear slotted fat boy both with fresh rubber, Mustang 17" vintage solo, genuine leather H-D saddlebags, H-D tachometer with billet aluminum mount, Pingel fuel petcock, fresh H-D battery, SS braided clutch and throttle cables, H-D oil cooler with thermostat, detachable Harley windshield, HD custom grips with chrome levers, and heal supports on foot pegs with 2" extended forward controls, V&H pro pipe with competition baffle.

On a scale of 10 this bike is truly a 9.95, it has one small rock peck on the oil tank, the paint is perfect with no swirls or scratches. Other than that this bike looks better than new and it runs flawlessly. You are welcome to come see prior to bidding if you wish.

You can pick up or have it shipped from here. I have used motorcycle shippers.com with good results, cost about $600 depending on where you live.

I prefer a bank transfer or cash for payment, I will take a certified bank check but, I will not release bike until I am sure it has cleared your bank. I will require a $500 paypal deposit at the end of the auction, but will not accept paypal for the balance.

Thanks for looking and good luck bidding, please ask any questions prior to bidding!

Harley-Davidson Tri-Glide Led Inauguration Parade

Mon, 02 Feb 2009

While at the time, most of the attention was on President Barack Obama, motorcycle enthusiasts would have surely noticed the one-of-a-kind 2009 Harley-Davidson Police concept Tri-Glide Ultra Classic which led the inauguration parade to the White House on January 20th. Lieutenant Scott Fear, Commander of the U.S. Park Police Motor Unit, led a dozen side car-equipped Electra Glides in a formation riding the heavily modified Trike, which was sourced by Harley-Davidson of Frederick.
