Harley-Davidson Softail tech info
Harley-Davidson Softail description
Hate to see this 'low miles and great condition' Harley go.
I have owned it since 2001 as the 2nd owner, and now have two small children and no time to ride. Has a lot of chrome, grips, platforms, V&H exhaust, back rest, leather rigid saddle bags, polished wheels, new tires, new petcock, new brakes, new fluids, and more. Runs great and starts right up. --------------- Received a few quick questions, and thought best to answer them here, so all could see...nothing to hide...is a great bike. Q1: Any issues? A1: None. Is in my garage on a trickle charger now. Has been very well maintained. Went out to the garage last week and it fired right up. Q2: Why are you selling? A2: I am selling as I have two daughters 10yo and 7yo and have not been able to ride in ~3 years, as I am a single Dad and focused on spending time with my children. Figured it is time to sell now...and perhaps look to pickup a bike again in 10-12 years. Q3: Has it ever been down. A3: No. This bike has never been down. |

Marlon Brando Estate Files Suit Against Harley-Davidson
Tue, 17 May 2011Brando Enterprises, an operating entity that protects the Marlon Brando brand on behalf of the actor’s family, has filed a lawsuit against Harley-Davidson. The suit alleges Harley-Davidson used the legendary actor’s name without a license for a leather riding boot called “The Brando”. “It is interesting that Harley-Davidson – a company that is vigorously protective of its own brand – would seek to exploit an iconic property without benefit of a licensing agreement,” says Jeffrey I.
Church of MO: 2012 Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide Custom Review
Sun, 30 Oct 2022Someone’s not done bitchin’ in the kitchen ’bout Dyna; when H-D dropped the twin-shock classic after 2017, there was more than a little wailing and gnashing of gears. The first Dyna rolled out in 1991 in the form of the FXDB Sturgis, which I think is the one I rode to Sturgis. Ten years ago, Pete and Fonzie rode the FXDC Super Glide.
