1999 Harley-Davidson Softail STANDARD, This is the last year of the dependable,"bullet-proof", gear driven cam engine. It has never broken down. Of course, it is garage kept and I have been a biker for 45 years. It has been maintained better than manufacturer's recommendations and is in excellent shape mechanically and cosmetically. There are too many custom items to list all of them, but I will note it has custom aluminum wheels, rotors with new brake pads and a new rear Dunlop GT-501 tire installed when wheels were installed a few hundred miles ago. There are thousands of dollars in add-on covers, chrome hardware and goodies. I will throw in an H.D. bike cover and a set of leather bags to the right buyer. Enclosed trailer delivery is a possibility, if necessary at a reasonable cost to buyer, with-in Florida. But I am located within a few miles of the Palm Beach International Airport, so you can fly in and drive it home..ANYWHERE. I have another bike and want to by another antique car, so let's make a deal before Christmas and make everyone happy. Harley-Davidson to compete in Hill Climb
Wed, 24 Jan 2018For the first time in the history of the World Extreme Games, in addition to skiers, snowboarders and other extreme winter sports, Harley-Davidson motorcycle riders will also start competing. The new Harley-Davidson Snow Hill Climb medal discipline will be introduced during the final days of the games, which will take place from January 25 to 28, 2018. Athletes will climb on motorcycles on the slope of the SuperPipe track.
Ohio Man to be Buried on 1967 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide
Fri, 31 Jan 2014Billie Leo Standley died last weekend from lung cancer, but before he died, the 82-year-old wished for the world to know he was going to ride off to heaven. To accomplish this wish, Standley and his family made arrangements for him to buried in a Plexiglas casket riding his 1967 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide.
