This is a dream bike that was brought to life. Nicknamed Orange Juice, the Sunset Pearl with Real Fire ghost flames paint on this is stunning. It was featured in Hot Bike magazine in 2007. It was designed and built by Lajos John Miho of Grand Rapids MN. The build time was six weeks with over 150 hours of sheet metal work. The bike features the following: Engine - '99/Evolution/80ci Transmission - '06 from Accessories Unlimited Frame - '99 H-D Softail, 38 degree rake, 5-out stretch Suspension - HHI Front and Swingarm, HHI 5-degree triple-trees, Progressive Shocks Wheels, Tires & Brakes: Front - Weld/19-inch Recluse, Avon/19 in tires, HHI calipers, Weld Recluse Rotor Rear - Weld/18x10.5 Recluse, Avon/300 tires, HHI brakes Accessories: Dakota Digital gauges Donnie Smith handle bars and risers Accessories Unlimited mirrors, hand & foot controls, headlamp Seat made by Mark Milbrant at In Stitches RoadMax starter Additional photos and a copy of the Hot Bikes article are available upon request. The Hydra-Glide name celebrates its 75th anniversary, dating back to the first hydraulic fork that was equipped to a Harley-Davidson, replacing the springer front end in 1949, while the “slash” fuel tank design, emblem, classic round air filter cover, two-toned windshield, seat, and cases, are all nods to the 1956 FLH. Survey Says Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorcycles Less Reliable Than Japanese – But Owners Don’t Care

A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson  owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.
