Selling my 1999 Harley Davidson Heritage Springer Softail FLSTS This bike is absolutely beautiful and has very classic, timeless styling. There are roughly 37000 miles on the bike, but you'd never be able to tell - it is extremely clean. This bike is everything that it should be and performs as it should. I had the bike detailed last month and it came out amazingly. The two tone blue and silver paint is very nice and complement each other very well. The chrome is in great shape and so is the leather. The engine starts right up and the bike shifts well. The clutch feels great and the tires and brakes are in great shape. The only issue I see is that the headlight rivets are a little lose and that it vibrates while riding down the road - could possibly be fixed with a small shim, or you can find a replacement pretty easily. I have a clean CT title in hand and the bike is currently registered and insured in my name. Please take a look at the pictures, they look great and still don't do the bike justice. I encourage anyone local to come see the bike so that you can really appreciate what it is. This was the last of the EVO powered bikes and many say that the 1997-1999 model years are the best example of the Heritage Springer line. New Delhi Auto Expo 2012 – Motorcycle Manufacturers Draw Battle Lines for World’s Second Largest Market

But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.
Harley-Davidson World Ride Scheduled for June 22–23

Participating in an activity that is also taking place at the same time all over the world adds a special meaning to the event. Begun in 2008 by the Harley Owners Group as Million Mile Monday and renamed and enlarged in 2012 toHarley-Davidson World Ride, this event simply asks all “friends of Milwaukee” to get on their hogs and ride on June 22–23.
Harley Declares Women Riders Month
Tue, 10 Feb 2009Back in July of ’08 Motorcycle.com announced that The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and Nationwide Insurance were working together to mark July as Women’s Motorcycle Month in order to honor the contribution made to history by female riders. This May, Harley-Davidson is staging a series of events in order to celebrate women on two wheels by declaring May, “Women Riders Month.” Some of the Harley-Davidson Women Riders Month initiatives will include special rides in New York City and Milwaukee as well as an attempt to grace the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of women motorcycle riders trained in one weekend. Harley-Davidson dealerships will also be hosting women-only Garage Parties, which consist of informal meetings in an unintimidating environment where women can learn about motorcycling.
