Harley-Davidson Softail description
1998 Harley Davidson Fatboy Softail FLSTF Motorcycle Low 5K Miles Motorcycle has very low miles. The low mileage is because I do not have time to ride it which is why I am selling it. It runs perfect. Photos say more then I can in words--the bike is amazing. Minor wear on left side of leather seat and extremely small minor oxidation/rust which does not show in the pictures or to the eye but I want to disclose any issues I notice. The pictures show how nice this bike looks. I am the second owner. The first owner was a doctor from my home town who didn't have time to ride so I got the bike in 2012. I've only put about 2K miles on it in 4 years--I've maintained it well in my garage. Official paint code is "Midnight Blue". The paint is perfect. Any apparent blemishes in the pictures are from the reflection of clouds in the sky and other surroundings. Paint is perfect. See my feedback score of 100% and 183 sales. I am an honest seller. Starting the bidding at $1 to see where it goes from there. Good luck bidding. |

Harley Declares Women Riders Month
Tue, 10 Feb 2009Back in July of ’08 Motorcycle.com announced that The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and Nationwide Insurance were working together to mark July as Women’s Motorcycle Month in order to honor the contribution made to history by female riders. This May, Harley-Davidson is staging a series of events in order to celebrate women on two wheels by declaring May, “Women Riders Month.” Some of the Harley-Davidson Women Riders Month initiatives will include special rides in New York City and Milwaukee as well as an attempt to grace the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of women motorcycle riders trained in one weekend. Harley-Davidson dealerships will also be hosting women-only Garage Parties, which consist of informal meetings in an unintimidating environment where women can learn about motorcycling.
Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight and Roller Derby? [Video]
Thu, 10 Jun 2010Canadian publication Cycle Canada had some fun on a photoshoot for its review of the Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight for the July issue. As Pete wrote in our own review, the Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight has a rugged, bobber-inspired look with its chopped fender, chubby front tire and underslung mirrors. For the guys over at Cycle Canada, the Forty-Eight conjured up a rather odd image: roller derby.
