For Sale by Fixed Price OR Best Offer is my 1996 Harley Davidson FDL Low Rider with only 13,000 miles. I took close ups of fenders, gas tank etc. See pics for close ups and enlarged photos for best view. This bike has been well maintained and has never been dropped or laid down. Very original.
I bought this as part of a larger bundle deal but my wife says "NO!" to riding it. A few years back, my blood sugar was astronomically high one day and I blacked out while riding another motorcycle so she said that was the end of my riding days. But she never said I couldn't buy one!!! By the way, please check out my other items for sale as there is also a 1999 HD Fat Boy with Flaming Skulls paint with only 43K miles also listed for sale (see last two pics.) The bike runs great and I have taken it around the block a few times (after checking my blood sugar...seriously!) and it is one cool bike. Sounds great with the drag pipes but not obnoxious. Shifts smooth. Easy to ride and maneuver. Would be a great second bike or a great entry level bike. In a time before the economic meltdown, motorcycle sales, especially for Harley-Davidson, were booming. After the collapse, sales have only started to pick up again within the past two years (at nowhere near pre-2008 levels, however).

Wed, 20 May 2009Polaris Industries, the parent company of Victory Motorcycles, announced this week it will form a new on-road vehicle division. The official announcement says the new division “maximizes cohesive and strategic growth for Victory Motorcycles and other on-road products and brands”. Which begs the question: what other on-road products and brands?
