Harley-Davidson Softail description

FXSTC all original Evolution Motor with a Kuryakyn butterfly air intake. 80 Cubic inches, 1340 cc. It has @ 58,050 respectful miles on it. Clear Title. Ready to ride.....---you can make it into 'your' ride. This bike could become a killer bobber project or custom. Use your imagination and get to it.

* Customized led turn signals * Badlander seat * Forward controls * Triple tree front lights * Original Harley Springer front end. * Two tone paint from the factory with * Original 1960's issue emblems on the tank * New rocker box gaskets recently, * Electrical overhaul, neck bearings and tires. I do have a maintenance record of much of the non routine work done. The saddle bags are the original Harley Texas bags. They are a little tattered but you can not find these anymore. There is a barely bent foot peg on the shifter side and I decided not to try and bend it back as it may crinkle the chrome. This bike does not leak and uses regular 20-50w oil, not synthetic. It is mechanically sound with @ 75% good rubber yet from the Dunlop tires. (21" front tire) Go to Youtube to hear her idle and see the LED turn signal mirrors in action. If you are interested I will email you the link, just message me. If you are looking for the Classic feel of the Springer Custom EVO. Experience freedom.........you found it ! $5,850.00

Fri, 04 Oct 2013

On January 9, 2014, during the fourth annual Las Vegas Sale of motorcycles at Bally’s Hotel and Casino, Bonhams, the world’s largest auction house for cars, motorcycles and memorabilia, will be auctioning off over 50 motorcycles from the extensive Wayne Pierce family museum collection, all offered at no reserve. Among the machines is a first-year Harley-Davidson Sportster believed to be the 10th XL883 produced in 1957, a 1933 Harley VLE police bike that saw actual duty on the streets of Chicago before being cast in the 1987 Kevin Costner gangster movie, “The Untouchables,” and an authentic and unrestored 1947 Harley Knucklehead wearing period aftermarket accessories. Wayne “Pappy” Pierce started his Harley-Davidson dealership in 1957, run out of a one-room tin shed in DeKalb, Illinois.
