1991 HARLEY DAVIDSON CUSTOM RAT BIKE This bike is built from a 1991 Softail and runs and rides great. Modifications include: After market transmission with close gear ratio DNA Springer 2" under front end DNA front brake caliper DNA rear suspension lowering kit 1340 Evo Engine Racing clutch kit The bike has a fat front tire to complete the look, the tank and fender have been stripped to bare metal and clear coated but can be changed to any color you would want easily. The bike has the dual tank set up but at this time am only running it off one side, a simple cross over line will allow both tanks to be used. Bike runs out rides and drives very nice. All electronics have been removed from the bike. No speedo, no odometer, no tach. Head light and brake light only, no signal lights. Good looking bike with an aggressive stance. Loud pipes with wrapping. Awesome bike like it is or finish it to suit yourself. |

2012 Harley-Davidson Dyna Switchback Revealed
Thu, 21 Jul 2011Harley-Davidson has revealed a new member to its Dyna family featuring quick change convertibility from touring to cruiser mode. As we expected, the new Harley-Davidson Dyna Switchback features hard saddlebags and fork-mounted windshield that can be removed quickly and without tools, allowing it to change from a touring motorcycle to a cruiser, and back again. The Dyna Switchback uses Harley-Davidson’s Twin Cam 103 engine, 2-into-1 chrome exhaust, and five-spoke cast aluminum wheels with full fenders.
US Highland Making a Comeback
Thu, 13 Oct 2011US Highland appears to be making a comeback, announcing plans to begin processing new orders and having discussions with several OEMs for the use of the Oklahoma company’s powertrains. The Tulsa-based company did not mention which OEMs it is working with, though US Highland says the discussions could result in sales of over 20,000 units per year. The company is developing fuel injected V-Twin engines in 750cc, 950cc and 1050cc displacements and Singles in 350cc, 450cc and 507cc displacements.
