Harley-Davidson Softail description

1988 Softail, This is an old custom job, bike had 3900 miles when I got it, now 4500. original 80cube,engine also modified! However I do not have a build spec history. I guess it had at least a scream'n Eagle cam kit as it lopes bad A... like it should. It has a beautiful candy orange paint job with flames and art work, a custom ivory seat, long tanks, twist spoke wheels, forward controls, obvious that tires are great. Nice thing about bikes is pictures say a lot, so look close, it runs great, sounds great, and is a nice investment. I bought it from an estate, the ole boy had great taste in his collection, but did not ride bikes! His white 54 Vette is still available for lots of dough...Pictures are easy to take if I missed anything. I am a horsetrader, SO????
I will only ship when I know money is good, wire transfer or verified cashier check. If you want pay-pal then add a handling fee to your math. It is an old bike, thus it is sold "as is". I am in shipping industry so can help there if needed, it is in 74128 area.

Wed, 17 Apr 2013

While on location in the Black Hills of South Dakota, PBS’s Antiques Roadshow stopped by the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum to film a segment on motorcycle toys. In the segment host Mark L. Walberg talks with vintage toy expert Noel Barrett about various American-made, antique, cast iron motorcycle toys. Barrett shares the history of these early toys, some tips about how one might tell a reproduction from the real thing, and offers his valuation on several highlighted examples. Walberg also takes a ride on a vintage Harley-Davidson Servi-Car.
