Harley-Davidson Street 750 Goes Flat Tracking At X Games

Harley-Davidson’s new Street 750 is set to make its flat track debut this weekend at X Games Austin. Reigning AMA Pro Flat Track Grand National champion Brad “the Bullet” Baker will lead the exhibition race. Highlights of the race will air on ESPN during the X Games competition coverage. Michael Jackson was not known for riding motorcycles, he did own a 2001 Harley-Davidson that was on the action block earlier this year that was listed for $6,000 – $8,000, I never heard if it was sold or not.  We all have our different opinions about the mega pop star but we can all agree that he was larger than life and truly a boy in a mans body, case in point, take a look at the “Speed Demon” video that features Jackson on a bicycle, motorcycle and scooter, sort of… The “Speed Demon” video is available after the jump. Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
