The FLSTCI Softail Classic features ample, 1950s-style leather saddlebags, the protection of a detachable windshield, touring handle bars and a comfortable passenger position with backrest. Laced wheels, passing lamps, studded-leather trim and a full-skirted FL front fender over a fat touring front tire complete a look that is truly classic, but also comfortable for the long road ahead. Chrome Aluminum Profile Laced wheels are available as a factory-installed option. The Hydra-Glide name celebrates its 75th anniversary, dating back to the first hydraulic fork that was equipped to a Harley-Davidson, replacing the springer front end in 1949, while the “slash” fuel tank design, emblem, classic round air filter cover, two-toned windshield, seat, and cases, are all nods to the 1956 FLH.
