1980 HarleyDavidson Shovelhead Classic 1st 250mis were break in miles done and motorcycle dyno. Polished SNS super B carborator. High flow pringle petcock. Steel braided cables. All knots and bolts are chrome. 300 TSI oil lines. Electric and kick start. 1980 Harley Shovelhead 80 cubic inch with just 2000 mis. Everything has been rebuilt or new, best of the best parts. This bike has been lowered without cutting the frame or moving the shocks its a stock Harley frame. All the aluminum is highly polished, all black parts are powercoated. It has a duel disk wide glide front end, and the inside of heads are polished, has a new belt drive, new 30,000 v coil accel and plug wires, new high output alternator, plugs points condensor, heavy duty starter and relay, and new Avon Venom tires. Also new brakes, new sealed battery, new wiring, all wires have been crimped and solder with shrink tube covering. Lots of chrome and the rims are authentic factory Harley which were black when new but have been polished. Scheduled Harley-Davidson activities include the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building, the XR1200 Racing Experience, Muscular Dystrophy Association pin sale and custom motorcycle raffle and the Harley-Davidson Ride-In Show.

Tsunami-Tossed Harley-Davidson from Japan Washes Up in Canada

A shipping container holding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle with Japanese plates was discovered on a beach in British Columbia, Canada. The container, which appears to be the cargo area of a box truck, is believed to be one of the first notable pieces of debris set adrift by the 2011 Japanese tsunami to land in North America. Beachcomber Peter Mark discovered the containerwhile riding his ATV along an isolated beach on Graham Island, an island south of the Alaskan Panhandle.

Harley-Davidson Opens Latin America Office in Miami

Harley-Davidson opened a new regional headquarters in Miami, Fla., to house the company’s Latin America operations. The new Harley-Davidson Latin America headquarters supports the Motor Company’s subsidiaries in Brazil, Mexico and other countries in Central and South America. Harley-Davidson projects international sales to exceed 40% of the company’s revenue by 2014 with the Latin America office a prime area of growth.
