Harley-Davidson Other description

Harley Davidson WL Flat Head 1945.  This is a real authentic civilian WL, not a parts bike built up from army surplus parts. Older restoration approximately 15 years ago. Rebuilt from the ground up at that time.  Motor and transmission rebuilt by Paul Friebus of American Cycle Fabrication fame.  Original parts that were on the bike are still on it such as; Speedometer, hubs, handle bars, frame, tanks, fenders and fender trim, carburetor and air cleaner, high compression heads, cylinders, case etc.  The headlights, tail light, chrome rims, chrome primary cover are new replacements. Don't ask about the saddle bags and winter fairing in the photo because the previous owner that did the restoration threw them out, ugh!  Not a pristine garage queen anymore but still a really nice solid WL.  Has been a great bike, rode it to Oley AMCA meet two years but daughter in college so price to sell.   As with any vintage mechanical items no warrantee can be extended or implied. Buyer must understand and accept vehicle in "as is" condition.  WL is on show room floor and can be seen at Superior Cycles, 1863 Woodbridge Avenue, Edison, NJ 08817  732-819-3945.  Listing may end if sold at Superior. Feel free to call me at 732-841-5853 with any questions.
