1982 HARLEY DAVIDSON XLH WATER DAMAGE , FLOOD REPAIRABLE SALVAGE. Bike arrived as you see in the pics missing the intake, spark plugs out, paint rough etc. We have no history on this bike. This is a project bike for a mechanically inclined individual. Bike is being sold in condition "AS IS!" with a New York salvage certificate MV907A. Please check your local salvage laws before bidding. Contact Allen with questions 201-248-XXXX. Bike is not pretty! Fuel tank looks like it was painted with a paint brush! Thu, 09 Feb 2012The Harley-Davidson Museum is opening a new exhibit dedicated to an iconic piece of motorcycle culture: the black leather jacket. The “Worn to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket“ exhibit will showcase the ubiquitous article from many riders’ wardrobe.The exhibit includes over 100 artifacts including jackets designed by fashion houses such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Gianni Versace, as well as jackets worn by celebrities such as Elvis Presley. “The leather jacket symbolizes different things for each person who wears it, whether they are a motorcyclist, celebrity or a top designer,” says Bill Davidson, vice president of the Harley-Davidson Museum.
