HERE IS A BEAUTIFUL 1968 HARLEY DAVIDSON FLH SHOVELHEAD ENGINE WIDE GLIDE MOTORCYCLE. THIS MOTORCYCLE WAS ALL PROFESSIONALLY REDONE AND IT'S READY TO GO, IT HAS 2500 mileS ON IT. THE ORIGINAL OWNER HAD THIS MOTORCYCLE SINCE NEW, HE HAD IT COMPLETELY REDONE WITH PLANS ON KEEPING THE MOTORCYCLE UNTIL THE DAY HE DIED. HE ENDED UP LOSING HIS JOB AND DECIDED TO LET THE MOTORCYCLE GO. THIS MOTORCYCLE NEEDS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT ALL, YOU COULD RIDE IT THIS WAY, OR YOU COULD INVEST A FEW BUCKS OR SELL OR TRADE SOMEBODY THE PARTS ON THE BIKE TO GET THE CORRECT FLH FRONT END AND FENDERS AND BRING IT RIGHT BACK TO 100% ORIGINAL, THE REST OF THE WORK IS ALL DONE FOR YOU. THE BIKE WAS REPAINTED ONCE BEFORE BACK IN LIKE 1972, THE OWNER FILLED IN THE NECK AREA WITH BONDO JUST TO GIVE A CLEAN SMOOTH LOOK, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE NECK AREA, IT WAS NEVER CUT OR RAKED OR WELDED OR ANYTHING, THE OWNER PROMISED ME THAT IT JUST HAS BONDO ON IT. Fri, 21 May 2010Harley-Davidson opened its first dealer in China in 2005, they now have four dealers operating nationwide (Shanghai, Beijing, Qingdao and Hong Kong). Harley reported that sales had doubled in China last year and plans to open four new dealerships this year (Wenzhou, Xiamen, Dalian and Chengdu). According to Rodney Copes, Harley’s Vice President of international sales, China is the fastest growing market for the American motorcycle manufacture.
2013 Harley-Davidson Models Revealed in CARB Documents
Fri, 22 Jun 2012The bulk of the 2013 Harley-Davidson model lineup has been revealed in documents released by the California Air Resources Board. While this is a fairly lengthy list of models, it may not be complete as Harley-Davidson sometimes saves a couple of new model announcements for later in the year. Most of the models revealed are returning models but there are a couple of omissions as well as several additions, including new anniversary models celebrating Harley-Davidson’s upcoming 110th anniversary.
Terminator 2 Harley-Davidson Is Coming Home
Tue, 04 Feb 2014If you thought Arnold Schwarzenegger’s greatest role was in Terminator, then you should make your way to Milwaukee: The Harley-Davidson Museum has acquired one of the few surviving 1990 Harley-Davidson FatBoy motorcycles used in the filming of Terminator 2: Judgement Day. At the time of filming, the FatBoy was one of Harley-Davidson’s newest models, and the one now in the Museum’s permanent collection was ridden by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1991 action classic. “Terminator 2 is an iconic film and a celebrated piece of pop culture history,” said Jim Fricke, Curatorial director of the Harley-Davidson Museum.
