HERE IS A BEAUTIFUL 1968 HARLEY DAVIDSON FLH SHOVELHEAD ENGINE WIDE GLIDE MOTORCYCLE. THIS MOTORCYCLE WAS ALL PROFESSIONALLY REDONE AND IT'S READY TO GO, IT HAS 2500 mileS ON IT. THE ORIGINAL OWNER HAD THIS MOTORCYCLE SINCE NEW, HE HAD IT COMPLETELY REDONE WITH PLANS ON KEEPING THE MOTORCYCLE UNTIL THE DAY HE DIED. HE ENDED UP LOSING HIS JOB AND DECIDED TO LET THE MOTORCYCLE GO. THIS MOTORCYCLE NEEDS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT ALL, YOU COULD RIDE IT THIS WAY, OR YOU COULD INVEST A FEW BUCKS OR SELL OR TRADE SOMEBODY THE PARTS ON THE BIKE TO GET THE CORRECT FLH FRONT END AND FENDERS AND BRING IT RIGHT BACK TO 100% ORIGINAL, THE REST OF THE WORK IS ALL DONE FOR YOU. THE BIKE WAS REPAINTED ONCE BEFORE BACK IN LIKE 1972, THE OWNER FILLED IN THE NECK AREA WITH BONDO JUST TO GIVE A CLEAN SMOOTH LOOK, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE NECK AREA, IT WAS NEVER CUT OR RAKED OR WELDED OR ANYTHING, THE OWNER PROMISED ME THAT IT JUST HAS BONDO ON IT. Stephen King to Guest Star on ‘Sons of Anarchy’
Tue, 21 Sep 2010Stephen King will be making a guest appearance on the hit TV show, Sons of Anarchy, later tonight. King will play a character named “Bachman”, which I’m sure was no coincidence since he had published under the pen name “Richard Bachman” for several years. Stephen King is a motorcycle enthusiast and was excited to get a tricked-out, bright red Harley-Davidson Road-Glide to ride for the filming of the episode. See his comments about the production here. Tue, 19 May 2009Historically speaking, the kinds of places that have openly accepted or invited motorcycle enthusiasts and their bikes were lacking in a number of areas. While they may have been convenient and offered motorcycle-friendly amenities, they did so with little comfort or luxury. On the other hand, accommodations on the higher end of the spectrum were pretentious and inconvenient for storing bikes and gear.
US Highland Making a Comeback
Thu, 13 Oct 2011US Highland appears to be making a comeback, announcing plans to begin processing new orders and having discussions with several OEMs for the use of the Oklahoma company’s powertrains. The Tulsa-based company did not mention which OEMs it is working with, though US Highland says the discussions could result in sales of over 20,000 units per year. The company is developing fuel injected V-Twin engines in 750cc, 950cc and 1050cc displacements and Singles in 350cc, 450cc and 507cc displacements.
