Harley-Davidson Other description

We have here an amazing custom H-D that just came in as a consignment. This Fat Boy is fully customized and has been completely redone from the ground up. Most people have a tough time believing this is a Harley! Must be seen in person. This thing is unreal - so clean you could eat off it. Always stored in a climate controlled environment. Full custom dark purple paint job with ghost flames, RC Components billet wheels, 180 rear tire, Progressive shocks, overbored high-comp pistons, 2-into-1 exhaust, cam, headwork, reworked carb, and much more! Reserve has been set at a very realistic level... A screaming deal for the money. You couldn't even begin to build one anything like it for anywhere near the $$$. Only 7,800 miles. Build was done in '03 and bike is titled as a 2003 NJ reconstruction (clear title) which began with a '95 model. No trades please, just a simple green-money deal on this one. PayPal for deposit only. Buyer is responsible for all transportation arrangements but we will assist where possible. If you have additional questions, for fastest response just call our shop line at Eight-Five-Six, Six-91-5595. Thanks

2015 Harley-Davidson Freewheeler Revealed

Tue, 26 Aug 2014

It’s no surprise, as we’ve already seen the spy photos and California Air Resources Board documents, but Harley-Davidson has officially introduced its new Freewheeler trike, adding a second three-wheeled model to go with the Tri Glide Ultra Classic. Whereas the Tri Glide is designed for touring needs, the Freewheeler is more of a cruiser with 12-inch mini-ape-hanger handlebars and bobtail fenders. Up front is a seven-piece nacelle with a dual halogen lamp mounted tight to the 49mm telescopic fork and frame.

Stuck for a gift? Solution No2: Harley-Davidson merchandise

Fri, 09 Dec 2011

Next year marks a strange anniversary for Harley-Davidson; 100 years of the firm's merchandising operation. Yes, just nine years after getting in on the motorcycle game H-D realised that the real cash was to be found in selling accessories rather than just bikes. And they're masters of the art.

US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011

Tue, 09 Oct 2012

Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
