Harley-Davidson Other description

This is your opportunity to own a one of a kind real piece of Outlaw Biker memorabilla, an authentic vintage chopper (How Cool Is That)! This chopper was owned and built by "Terry The Tramp" (Vagos MC). The last b&w picture is the bike being built in an apartment living room with Terry's son "Terry The Wall".

The bike was purchased directly from Terry and was bought as a non-rider one of a kind 1970's outlaw biker collectible. When purchased the bike had been in storage for sometime, the carburetor was re-built, gas tank was flushed out, oil changed and a new battery was installed then test driven around the block. Not much is know about the particulars, but if you have any questions feel free to ask and we will answer as best as we can! It is registered as a 1966 Harley Davidson, but over the years it has gone through some changes. The engine is now a Shovel Head with STD Cases!

Terry The Tramp: The Life And Dangerous Times Of A One Percenter

The life of a one percenter is living outside the box of normal society, surviving in its margins. It's a dreamy, wild existence for some. Others find it fraught with upheaval, treachery, trick bags, and snitches. But there's something inherently romantic about neon reflecting on speeding chrome at 3:00 in the morning, just after ditching an angry cop and a pissed-off husband.

Terry "the Tramp" Ordenoff, born in 1947 to a broken middle-class home and an absentee father, grew up in Alhambra, the blistering agricultural region of Southern California, with a violent chip on his shoulder. Raised in that tough-as-nails environment, he developed the balls to look right through a man twice his size, read his level of weakness, and discover his breaking point.

Terry became the international president of one of the most notorious one-percenter motorcycle clubs in Southern California, the Vagos MC, and remained in office through upheaval, indictments, drugs, and club wars. Then, after a lifetime of service to the club, he was unceremoniously expelled.

As the international president, Terry helped the club expand into Wyoming, Hawaii, Oregon, Nevada, and Japan. He guided his brothers through the marijuana smoke of the hippie era, the needless violence precipitated by the use of reds in the 1970s, followed by the gangster era of speed and cocaine, all the while negotiating the treacherous terrain of club wars and nasty internal conflicts.

Terry the Tramp: The Life and Dangerous Times of a One Percenter takes readers through a lifetime spent within the belly of the beast.

2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout Unveiled at Daytona Bike Week

Fri, 08 Mar 2013

In a rare move, Harley-Davidson has unveiled a base version of its Breakout months after first launching the exclusive Custom Vehicle Operations version. Presented at the 2013 Daytona Bike Week, the 2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout offers a similar low and muscular profile as the CVO version but at prices starting at $17,899 compared to the premium model’s $26,999 price point. Tom Roderick reviewed the 2013 Harley-Davidson CVO Breakout last August, saying it “continues the tradition of exclusivity, performance and style customers have come to expect from Harley-Davidson’s Custom Vehicle Operations.” But take away the premium CVO features and what do you have?

Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight and Roller Derby? [Video]

Thu, 10 Jun 2010

Canadian publication Cycle Canada had some fun on a photoshoot for its review of the Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight for the July issue. As Pete wrote in our own review, the Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight has a rugged, bobber-inspired look with its chopped fender, chubby front tire and underslung mirrors. For the guys over at Cycle Canada, the Forty-Eight conjured up a rather odd image: roller derby.

Motorcycle Ride for Diabetes

Fri, 23 Jan 2009

Photograph by: Roy Antal, Leader-Post By and large, motorcyclists are some of the most generous citizens in the world. Riding events all over the world bring in untold millions of dollars for numerous worthy charities. Keeping with this theme, one hardy Canadian rider is braving the Great White North’s frigid winter temperatures by riding his Harley coast to coast to raise awareness for diabetes, a disease that has seen a rapid explosion of new afflictions.
