Nice Harley Sprint with original paint, complete with no missing parts- I have had this for eight years or so, and have run in 10 MotoGiro events. The bike got a fresh top end about 5000 miles back and has been a strong runner ever since. I also installed a PowerDynamo ignition/alternator last year. With this arrangement the bike idles and runs perfectly, while producing 12 volts of reliable power. This is the model with the more collectable engine and body work. Although Harley sold quite a few of these, it is rare to find one in this condition. It even has the correct Delorto Carburetor The BAD - Bike has a motor from 1964- I am also including a 1966 engine /transmission unit, (no top end) as well as all parts to replace the original generator, coil and points. I will supply owners and shop manuals as well. If you have the bike shipped I will crate the loose parts, which will need to be shipped separately. I am selling this because my 65 year old knees are not able to kick start these old bikes- I require a deposit of $250 in my paypal account within 48 hours of the end of this auction, with full payment in 7 days. Harley-Davidson Recalls Over 100,000 Touring Models, 1400 Street Models
Wed, 01 Oct 2014Harley-Davidson has recalled more than 105,000 Touring models from the 2014 model year, and approximately 1400 Street models from the 2015 model year. The Touring models have been recalled due to a possible failure of a component in the clutch master cylinder. This possible failure could cause a reduction in pressure available to keep the clutch disengaged, according to the NHTSA.

Harley-Davidson Goes Low for 2015
Tue, 26 Aug 2014Harley-Davidson revealed the new 2015 Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low and Ultra Limited Low, offering what it calls the the lowest seat height of any premium touring motorcycle on the market. Designed with riders 5 feet 7 inches and shorter in mind, the two Low models have a seat height of 25.6 inches from the ground, or 1.7 inches lower than the regular models. The lower seat isn’t the only change to accommodate shorter riders.
2015 Harley-Davidson Freewheeler Revealed
Tue, 26 Aug 2014It’s no surprise, as we’ve already seen the spy photos and California Air Resources Board documents, but Harley-Davidson has officially introduced its new Freewheeler trike, adding a second three-wheeled model to go with the Tri Glide Ultra Classic. Whereas the Tri Glide is designed for touring needs, the Freewheeler is more of a cruiser with 12-inch mini-ape-hanger handlebars and bobtail fenders. Up front is a seven-piece nacelle with a dual halogen lamp mounted tight to the 49mm telescopic fork and frame.
2015 Harley-Davidson CVO Lineup Revealed

Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM
Tue, 26 Aug 2014More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
