Welcome to the top-of-the-line bagger. The 2014 Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited model FLHTK is a premium featured touring bike full of authentic Harley-Davidson grand American touring style. As part of Project RushMore, the Ultra Limited has been redesigned for 2014 and features a new twin-cooled high output Twin Cam 103 Harley engine with more low-end torque and passing power. The new Twin Cam 103 is mated to a smooth-shifting 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission for low rpm at highway speeds. For 2014, the Ultra Limited has more room and touring comfort for the passenger and a redesigned iconic batwing fairing to reduce head buffeting. The 2014 Ultra Limited Harley-Davidson motorcycle features the new Reflex Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with dynamically, electronically linked brakes for optimum braking regardless of road conditions. Long distance riding has never been better. The new Boom Box Infotainment system provides the loudest, clearest sound and most intuitive operation ever on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. A key feature of the bike is the motorcycle luggage capacity. The sleek new touring saddlebags and Tour Pak provide more room for your gear. New on the Ultra Limited this year are Daymaker LED headlamps and LED fog lamps that provide 450 feet of punch down the road. The saddlebags on the Ultra Limited have new latches that can be operated with one hand. Also found on the Harley Ultra Limited is a 6-gallon fuel tank so you have to stop less for fuel. Harley Unveils Street Line in X Games Ice Racing Exhibition – Video

While exciting, the winter X Games have clearly been lacking one thing – motorcycles – and the Motor Company has joined with ESPN to bring ice racing to mainstream audiences. What could be a better way to introduce the Street 750 to a young, adventure sports-focused market to the Harley line designed by and for them?
Want to Buy the Pope’s Harley?
Mon, 13 Jan 2014In February, Bohnams auction house in Paris will allow both the Catholic and the Harley faithful to bid on a Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide owned by none other than Pope Francis, himself. Given to the Pope last year as part of the Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary celebration, the bike was unlikely to become the Popecycle because of the security required to protect the pontiff. The Pope donated the Dyna to the Roman Catholic charity Caritas Roma but not before signing the tank with “Francesco” at a special ceremony at the Vatican last November.
Easy Rider 40th Anniversary
Tue, 27 Oct 2009Peter Fonda, who played Wyatt in the 1969 cult classic, Easy Rider, was in Glendale, CA on Friday to help promote the Blu-Ray release of the film which marks the 40th anniversary. The movie was scheduled to be shown at the Love Ride event that was canceled this year, instead the film screened at a local Harley-Davidson dealer. One of the film’s main objective was to expose violence and racism in the U.S. in a negative light but instead it seems that it was taken the wrong way with most, glorifying the lifestyle that was portrayed in the film.
