The 2014 Harley-Davidson Dyna Street Bob FXDB model is a classic bobber motorcycle. The Harley Street Bob model is stripped down and refined to pure bobber essence. It’s everything you need and nothing you don’t, pure and simple. The Street Bob FXDB model is the ideal starting point for easily creating your own customized cruiser; with optional H-D1 factory customization you can design your perfect, personalized ride and order it built to your specifications directly from the factory. The Dyna Street Bob FXDB model comes with optional Hard Candy Custom, a large metal flake paint finish that recalls the iconic styling of '70s custom bikes, and offers blazing color showing through a deep, finish. If you're looking for bobber motorcycles you'll like the Street Bob model's slammed solo bobber seat. This seat not only adds to the style of the bike, but also keeps you comfortable. The bobber appearance is also maintained in the post-war style, stainless steel mini ape hanger handlebar. Add that to the stripped down Dyna fender, in combination with a good portion of the metal stripped off the bike, and you have a classic bobber motorcycle look. The 1940s sausage taillight also adds to the classic bobber motorcycle style. The classic look continues with the Harley Street Bob FXDB model's black laced steel 19-inch Harley wheels. Thu, 14 Mar 2013Dunlop says its second-generation of American Elite tires provide increased mileage, and come in a variety of new styles. Designed with Dunlop’s MT Multi-Tread technology, with a long-wearing center compound and grippier compounds on each edge, the new American Elite’s should pique the interest of Harley FL owners. The second-gen series of American Elites are also now available with narrow white bar sidewalls and wide white walls along with the original black sidewall, providing FL owners more choices. For riders of Harley-Davidson FL Touring bikes, model year 2009 and later, the new second-generation American Elite tires with Multi-Tread are available in 130/80B17 and 180/65B16 black sidewall, 130/80B17 and 180/65B16 narrow white sidewall, 130/90B16 and 180/65B16 wide white sidewall, with the 130/70B18 front tire available for select CVO bikes. For recent-model Softail owners, including models such as the Fat Boy, the MH90-21, 140/75R17 and 200/50R17 sizes of American Elite are also available.
Harley-Davidson Reveals “Twin-Cooled” Engine with Precision Liquid Cooling
Mon, 19 Aug 2013As we gleaned from recently revealed CARB documents, Harley-Davidson has introduced two new liquid cooled engines. The new engines use a combination of air-cooling and precision liquid cooling, similar to what BMW did with its 2013 R1200GS. One version of the engine, dubbed the Twin-Cooled High Output Twin Cam 103 will be used on the 2014 Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited and the Tri-Glide Ultra trike while the CVO Limited will use a 110ci engine known as the Screamin’ Eagle Twin-Cooled Twin Cam 110.
