Harley-Davidson Other description

2013 Harley-Davidson Road King 110th Anniversary Edition, Impossible to find used, probably impossible to find new, but this mildly used one can be yours today.... - Timeless boulevard cruiser style fully-equipped for comfortable long-distance touring. For 2013, the Touring Road King model comes in a limited, serialized 110th Anniversary Special Edition, featuring exclusive commemorative anniversary styling elements and premium features that make it a top-of-the-line model and a true work of living art, with finely forged finishes that age and transform in a manner unique to each vehicle. The Harley Road King features a powerful air-cooled Twin Cam 103 Harley engine with 6-speed cruise drive transmission, providing more performance power for passing, hill-climbing, and riding with passenger and luggage. The H-D Road King model FLHR has a classic Hiawatha headlamp that is a defining feature of this bike. Big and commanding, the Harley Road King model’s headlamp hearkens back to the Big Twins of the 60's. You get nothing less than the latest in materials and technology. Clear-lens reflector optics provides a longer distance high beam and wider low beam to light up your Harley touring experience. It's a bright, striking daytime lamp that blasts a little further into the night. Harley has many other touring motorcycles to take a look at including ones with motorcycle luggage capacity and a unique frame mounted Harley fairing. Take time to discover more motorcycle touring bikes such as the Harley Street Glide.

Four Harley-Davidson CVOs for 2022

Wed, 26 Jan 2022

The pinnacle of H-D style and design When you show up on a CVO, you know you’ve arrived and so do all the peons on lesser machines. “Exclusive and hand-crafted paint and designs are executed to a level of intricate quality that is unmatched in the motorcycle and automotive categories,” says H-D, to “represent the pinnacle of style and design.” For 2022, a new CVO Road Glide Limited replaces the CVO Limited, with CVO Street and CVO Road Glides returning, along with the CVO Tri Glide. Each CVO gets a burly Milwaukee-Eight 117 powertrain, H-D’s biggest and most powerful factory-installed motor.

Twin-engine pulsejet motorcycle. As you do..

Mon, 21 Feb 2011

The guy behind this twin-engined pulsejet motorcycle, Robert 'Bob' Maddox, fascinates me. He's a cabinet maker by trade but is somewhat an expert in the field of pulsejet engineering and has built a whole host of machines powered by the ever so subtle jet engine. This latest bike is dubbed a Harley-Davidson Sportjet, although it has nothing to do with Milwaukee and I'm not sure why H-D made it onto the tank...
