2013 Harley-Davidson FXDF Dyna Fat Bob, Dyna Fat Bob - This over-sized beast of a ride tears up the road with big power and unmistakable attitude. The 2013 Harley-Davidson Dyna Fat Bob FXDF model is a Dark Custom cruiser with a big motorcycle feel. The Harley Fat Bob model features a powerful air-cooled Twin Cam 103 Harley engine with six-speed cruise drive transmission, providing more performance power for passing, hill-climbing, and riding with passenger and cargo. For the custom style you want, the Fat Bob model motorcycles beefy handlebar is truly reminiscent of an aggressive quarter mile monster. And with the wires routed through the steel, you get a clean, minimal look with nothing standing in your way of the open road. Add to that the wide stance and 16 inch front wheel, and you have a cool fat custom look with a powerful big twin engine. And if you like a little Harley chrome on an otherwise stripped down bike, take a look at the Fat Bob model’s rear chrome shocks. These high performance coil-over rear chrome shocks give a smooth ride and custom look. For a little more chrome, the Dyna Fat Bob model also features a distinctive cast chrome double headlamp bucket. Louisiana Bill Updates Maximum Handlebar Height Legislation

Thu, 17 May 2012

Louisiana state lawmakers have approved a bill that would change the maximum height of motorcycle handlebars. Current state law restricts handlebar height to no more than 15 inches above the seat, a somewhat arbitrary level, but a common choice with 17 other states. The House has voted 87-0 in favor of Senate Bill 582 to change the maximum height to the rider’s shoulder level, as measured while sitting on the seat.

New Harley-Davidson Sportster for India to Use 500cc V-Twin

Thu, 03 Jan 2013

When Harley-Davidson first entered the Indian market, The Motor Company decided to import existing models as complete knockdown kits for final assembly in the burgeoning market. Considering the average motorcycle in India has a displacement smaller than 200cc, it was inevitable Harley-Davidson would eventually have to produce a small-displacement model rather than rely on its existing product line which currently lists the 883cc sportsters as its smallest bikes. Despite a denial last May by Harley-Davidson India’s Managing Director Anoop Prakash, it now appears Harley-Davidson is set to announce a new small-displacement model to be produced in India at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo next February.
