The 2013 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Limited model FLHTK is a premium featured touring bike full of authentic Harley-Davidson grand American touring style. For 2013, the Electra Glide Ultra Limited model comes in a limited, serialized 110th Anniversary Special Edition, featuring exclusive commemorative anniversary styling elements and premium features that make it a top-of-the-line model and a true work of living art, with finely forged finishes that age and transform in a manner unique to each vehicle. Some of the bike's premium features include: air-cooled Twin Cam 103 engine for powerful performance, ABS brakes, heated hand grips, titanium face gauges, Tour-Pak inserts, a premium Tour-Pak luggage rack, 28-spoke contrast chrome wheels, and special Ultra Limited identifier medallions. 2014 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra Classic Recalled
Tue, 08 Oct 2013Harley-Davidson is recalling the 2014 Tri Glide Ultra Classic trike because of a problem with . At the moment, a recall has only been announced by Transport Canada; the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has yet to announce the recall due to the federal government shutdown, but recall notices are already being sent out to dealers in the U.S. According to the Canadian agency, the upper fork stem bracket was machined incorrectly, allowing for more steering angle than intended by the trike’s specifications.
Harley-Davdison Museum Opens Tsunami Motorcycle Exhibit
Wed, 24 Oct 2012From Miyagi Prefecture in Japan to Graham Island in British Columbia, Canada, to Milwaukee, Wis., the motorcycle tossed across the Pacific Ocean by the 2011 Japanese tsunami has landed at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The 2004 Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train owned by earthquake and tsunami survivor Ikuo Yokoyama is now on display at the museum as a memorial to those affected by the March 2011 tsunami. The motorcycle will be preserved in the condition it was in when Canadian beachcomber Peter Mark found it inside a cargo box that washed up on Graham Island in May.
