It packs a premium audio system that plays through speakers in the fairing lowers and saddlebag lids. For 2013, the CVO Road King model comes in an even more limited availability, serialized 110th Anniversary Special Edition, featuring exclusive commemorative anniversary styling elements, premium features and finely forged finishes that make it a top-of-the-line model and a true work of motorcycle art. The FLHRSE5 Road King model CVO has a detachable short custom wind deflector that cuts the wind for more comfortable riding. The H-D CVO Road King model offers custom extended saddlebags that add to the bike's premium touring capabilities, and custom-style Agitator wheels that add to its bold boulevard style. The Twin Cam 110 engine with Screamin' Eagle badges provides 110 cubic inches of power, a low cruising RPM, and lots of low end torque, along with silky smooth shifting of its six-speed cruise drive transmission. Chrome touring mufflers are a beautiful set of pipes that look great, sound impressive and keep rider and passenger safe from exhaust heat. The two-piece low profile saddle is available in solo or two-rider configurations, in leather styling the makes a unique custom statement.

Harley-Davidson Expands H-D1 Bike Builder Tool for All Non-CVO Models
Fri, 08 Jun 2012Harley-Davidson has expanded its online H-D1 Bike Builder customization tool to include more models from its current lineup. The H-D1 Bike Builder allows users to customize motorcycles with parts from Harley-Davidson‘s catalog. The tool was previously only available for Sportster 1200 models but Harley-Davidson has add all of its models except for the high-end Custom Vehicle Operations line.
Harley-Davidson World Ride Tops 10 Million Miles; Eclipses 2012 Total by 28 Percent
Mon, 01 Jul 2013Motorcycle riders from around the world enthusiastically joined members of the Harley Owners Group (HOG) on June 23 and 24 to shatter last year’s record mileage total for the Harley-Davidson World Ride by collectively logging more than 10 million miles, a 28 percent increase over the 2012 total. Launched in 2008 as HOG’s Million Mile Monday, the annual event was expanded into the two-day Harley-Davidson World Ride in 2012 to give more riders worldwide an opportunity to participate. In 2012, participants logged 7,799,140 miles, but this year as riders celebrated the 110th Anniversary of Harley-Davidson Motor Company and the 30th Anniversary of HOG that culminates this Labor Day weekend in Milwaukee, they blitzed that record by more than 25 percent, tallying an official total of 10,018,231 miles.

Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
