Harley-Davidson Other description

I purchased it brand new from Harley Davidson of Dallas in March of this year. It is 1 of the very few made 110th Anniversary edition Fat boys. This is number 954 of 1,750 produced in the world. It has the 6 gear transmission, Anti lock brake system and factory alarm. The only modification I did was the new Vance and Hines black pipes. This bike sounds incredible. There is not one imperfection on this Harley. It only has 595 actual miles and will be extremely collectible. I also purchased the extended warranty and full maintenance package which I will transfer to you with an offer near the listing price. I am only selling it to invest in another business venture. This is not a distress sale so do not lowball me. I will include a 110th anniversary helmet and jacket with the sale. I take very good care of my stuff. This bike has never seen rain or moisture. It is in perfect showroom condition. Not every Harley dealer was able to get this bike, I purchased it immediately off the showroom floor. Serious buyers may call or text me at. No joyrides. If you come to test drive it be prepared to show proof of funds to purchase it or have a bank pre-approval in your hand.$27,500.00 Or best cash offer.

AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.

Harley-Davidson’s Vanity Fair Photo Shoot

Tue, 12 May 2009

Harley-Davidson has JUST uploaded a new video to YouTube (seriously! It was at 0 views when I got there!).  The video is a behind the scenes look at Harley-Davidson’s photo shoot for an upcoming issue of Vanity Fair. Watch the behind the scenes footage from Harley-Davidson’s new print campaign in the June Issue of Vanity Fair that salutes women riders and encourages females who have not yet hit the road on two wheels to “experience life with no regrets.” The women featured are health and wellness expert and NBCs The Biggest Loser trainer Jillian Michaels; Grammy®-winning singer-songwriter Jewel; television and film actor Tricia Helfer; and Los Angeles rider/entrepreneur Deborah DiMiceli.

Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight and Roller Derby? [Video]

Thu, 10 Jun 2010

Canadian publication Cycle Canada had some fun on a photoshoot for its review of the Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight for the July issue. As Pete wrote in our own review, the Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight has a rugged, bobber-inspired look with its chopped fender, chubby front tire and underslung mirrors. For the guys over at Cycle Canada, the Forty-Eight conjured up a rather odd image: roller derby.
