Harley Skateboard Trick – Awesome Motorcycle Jump

Everything needs to be jumped over with a skateboard at some point in human history.  People, benches, cars, cats, senior citizens, conclusions, ships, …. I’m getting a little metaphorical here…  Why not motorcycles?  Let’s jump some motorcycles on a skateboard and let’s make them Harley-Davidson motorcycles to boot. Harley is on fire with releasing “viral video” to promote their Dark Custom line and have now released this interesting video of a “modded” skateboard with fireworks strapped to it flying over some bikes.  Personally, I think it  looks like the guy is hanging from a wire when he crosses over those bikes.

Arlen Ness B-Day Bash At Petersen Museum

On July 12 the Petersen Automotive Museum is throwing a birthday party for one of motorcycling’s customizing icons, Arlen Ness. The B-day celebration will be followed by a V-Twin Cruise-In on July 13 and punctuated by a summer-long exhibit entitled Arlen Ness: Art on Two Wheels. The July 12th birthday party is open to the public and the $95 ticket price puts you in the company of Arlen and other customizing aristocrats and also includes cocktails and dinner.

That’s right, you can win the Harley-Davidson Cross Bones motorcycle that the classic heavy metal band is currently using on stage in their 2009 U.S. Summer Tour.  To mark the 30th anniversary of British Steel , the band will play the entire album live for the first time ever.  The custom bike will have the Judas Priest logo, British Steel graphics and will be signed by the band at the end for the tour for the lucky person who can win it.
