2011 Harley-Davidson FXS Softail Blackline, Hard to fine 2011 Softail Blackline! LOW miles and loaded with ABS and Security!! - The 2011 Harley-Davidson Softail Blackline FXS is a modern long custom motorbike with a minimalist, low profile and plenty of vintage Harley-Davidson parts. The FXS Blackline features a rigid "hardtail" rear suspension and narrow rear profile. This contemporary custom bike is slung low with an aggressive riding position that is both cool and comfortable. The Harley Blackline is reminiscent of the glory days of Harley-Davidson motorcycling—the black headlight, slammed speedometer mounted on the triple clamp, round air cleaner cover and black horseshoe oil tank are reminiscent of pre-war H-D parts and accessories; the fuel tank with small tank graphics are inspired by the 1977 Low Rider motorcycle; and the black cylinders with gray heads and black rocker covers is a look you'd find on the Panheads and Shovelheads of the 1950's and 60's. The 2011 H-D Blackline is the newest addition to the Harley Softail motorcycles lineup, and features a lot of blacked out parts and not a ton of extras—everything is functional and ready for the road.

Harley-Davidson Consolidates Businesses in Spain, Portugal and Italy
Wed, 16 Oct 2013In response to the continuing economic struggles in southern Europe, Harley-Davidson announced it will combine its operations in Spain, Portugal and Italy into a single business unit to be called SPI Motor Company. Harley-Davidson says the new company, which officially begins operating immediately, will be better positioned to respond to the challenges of the market. The new company will be led by Regional Managing Director of Operations Yves-Olivier Allamagny, formerly the director of Harley-Davidson Italy.

First introduced in the 2002 model year, the V-Rod marked a new era for Harley-Davidson, with the V-Rod’s 1130cc 60-degree V-Twin Revolution engine, the Motor Company’s first production engine with liquid cooling and overhead camshafts. That represents a 27% decrease from the net profit of $183.6 million reported over the same quarter of 2011, but the drop was an expected result from a planned decrease in third quarter shipments as Harley-Davidson adopts an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) manufacturing system at its York, Pa., factory.
