2011 Harley-Davidson FLHTK Electra Glide Ultra Limited, 2011 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Limited - The 2011 Harley-Davidson Touring Electra Glide Ultra Limited FLHTK is a premium-featured touring bike full of authentic Harley-Davidson grand American touring style. Some of the bikes premium features include: ABS brakes, heated hand grips, titanium face gauges, Tour-Pak inserts, a premium Tour-Pak luggage rack, 28-spoke contrast chrome wheels, and special Ultra Limited identifier medallions. Also found on the Harley Electra Glide Ultra touring bike is a six-gallon fuel tank so you have to stop less for fuel. This FLHTK is in excellent condition and has the 103 motor (1688cc). Tires and brakes have about 40% remaining. Bike has low miles and is ready to roll!

Harley-Davidson Reveals Project Livewire

Yesterday we published a scoop on what we believed to be a production electric motorcycle by, of all companies, Harley-Davidson, dubbed “Livewire.” Today, H-D officially announced Project LiveWire as the company’s first electric motorcycle.However, it appears as though our speculation about LiveWire going into production was a bit off base. Instead, The Motor Company is continuing with its customer-led product development approach and letting riders decide whether or not LiveWire sees the light of day. Starting next week select consumers across the country will be able to ride and provide feedback on the bike, helping to shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle. While not for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed for the purpose of getting insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

AMA Pro Racing Announces Preliminary 2013 Road Racing Schedule

AMA Pro Racing released a preliminary calendar for its 2013 Road Racing season. The tentative schedule contains nine confirmed rounds with another two to be confirmed. Next season will again see four classes of racing: AMA Pro National Guard Superbike, AMA Pro GoPro Daytona Sportbike, AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport, and the AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series which returns under its new name.

Chris Fillmore of Oxford, Mich., has won the 2011 AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Championship. Fillmore ended the season on a victorious note, winning the 2011 AMA Pro Road Racing season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park. The Bruce Rossmeyer/Geico racer finished the season with five wins and eight podium appearances in nine races in the Harley-Davidson XR1200 spec racing series.
