2011 Harley-Davidson Blackline , Blackline purchased new in May 2012. 7 months remain on factory warranty. Only 2144 miles. 103 kit, SE air intake, Supertrapp 2-1 exhaust, SE 255 cams, black cam cover, dynamometer tuned with SE race tuner. All work performed by Heritage Harley Davidson in Lisle, IL. Bike ridden by 46-year-old. Stored in heated garage. Never ridden in bad weather. Never dropped. Other features include a stainless steel (powdercoated black) rear splash guard- this replaces that cheap plastic splash guard that comes on all Softails which hides part of the rear wheel. Also included is an Anvil Customs swingarm bag, solo seat, and a battery tender (bike has pigtails installed for it). All the basics have been done to this bike, but nothing crazy. Blues Brothers Too Old for Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary Celebration?
Fri, 10 May 2013Comedian Dan Aykroyd says he offered to bring his Blues Brothers act to Harley-Davidson‘s 110th Anniversary celebrations but was turned down because H-D executives said the act was too old for the company’s target demographics. Aykroyd, playing the role of Elwood J. Blues with the late John Belushi playing “Joliet” Jake Blues, posted a statement on his official Facebook page suggesting Elwood is trading in his Harley-Davidson motorcycle for a Can-Am Spyder.
2015 Harley-Davidson Freewheeler Revealed
Tue, 26 Aug 2014It’s no surprise, as we’ve already seen the spy photos and California Air Resources Board documents, but Harley-Davidson has officially introduced its new Freewheeler trike, adding a second three-wheeled model to go with the Tri Glide Ultra Classic. Whereas the Tri Glide is designed for touring needs, the Freewheeler is more of a cruiser with 12-inch mini-ape-hanger handlebars and bobtail fenders. Up front is a seven-piece nacelle with a dual halogen lamp mounted tight to the 49mm telescopic fork and frame.
