For the discerning Harley-Davidson Sportster or Dyna rider who wants a bit of suspension adjustment, Burly has just released a line of preload adjusters for both models. Designed to replace the OEM fork caps, the machined aluminum adjusters can be installed in well under an hour with basic tools and are available for 39mm and 49mm Sportster and Dyna forks.  The adjusters sit tight against the triple tree to avoid handlebar interference and are available in clear or black anodized finish. Check out the Burly web site or contact your local dealer to get a set. Bred in America, built in India the new Revolution X platform is meant to be Harley’s new price point model. The two motorcycles feature the new liquid-cooled Revolution X engine, a narrow, agile chassis with a low seat height (26.3 inches), new suspension, a wide handlebar and minimalist styling. Not all markets will get both engine sizes, but the U.S. will. The 500 costs $6700 and the 750 is $7500.

In late November two motorcycle daredevils from opposite sides of the world were fighting to see who would be the first to backflip a Harley Davidson XR1200 motorcycle. Australia’s Kain Saul reached the Promised Land first when he made a successful jump in Sydney on November 27. Harley-Davidson believes Saul’s jump is the first ever successful backflip for any full size street motorcycle.
