This is a stock FLHX but it does have optional Cruise Control; which I almost consider mandatory on today's Touring Motorcycles. It was painted Vivid Black as all good Harleys should be (my wife disagrees). This FLHX has the newest frame configuration. A 96 C.I. V-twin/six gear Cruise Drive transmission provides the go. Brembo Brakes provide the Stop. Rubber motor mounts, a touring saddle, rear air adjustable shocks and a great big Bat Wing Fairing provide the comfort. A Harman/Kardon audio system provides the entertainment. Harley Davidson provides the reliability. All you have to do is put in some gas and provide its destination. Scheduled Harley-Davidson activities include the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building, the XR1200 Racing Experience, Muscular Dystrophy Association pin sale and custom motorcycle raffle and the Harley-Davidson Ride-In Show.
Harley-Davidson Recalls Over 100,000 Touring Models, 1400 Street Models
Wed, 01 Oct 2014Harley-Davidson has recalled more than 105,000 Touring models from the 2014 model year, and approximately 1400 Street models from the 2015 model year. The Touring models have been recalled due to a possible failure of a component in the clutch master cylinder. This possible failure could cause a reduction in pressure available to keep the clutch disengaged, according to the NHTSA.

Tue, 10 Sep 2013MDA Ambassador Reagan Imhoff wanted the artwork she created with Harley-Davidson designer Mathew Hintz to “raise a lot of money for MDA so we can have more scientists to make medicines.” The original drawing of a purple Harley-Davidson Softail Breakout motorcycle brought in $3500 on August 31 at the MDA auction during the 110th Anniversary Celebration. The pair hopes to raise even more with sales of the limited edition, signed prints, available through www.HintzStudios.com. “I’m happy our artwork raised some money, and hope we sell all of the prints!” said Reagan, who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a painful neuromuscular disease.
