Harley-Davidson Other description
2010 Harley-Davidson FXDB Dyna Street Bob, FXDB Dyna Street Bob - Thinking about hitting the open highway, but not wanting to buy a full size bagger? Here is the perfect compromise. This 2010 Street Bob has been outfitted for the long haul, but still has the maneuverability of a bar hopper. The Mustang seat and rider's backrest make for a great ride. The saddle bags allow you to bring along some extra goodies for the trip. Finally, the CB allows you to communicate with other riders as you're out on the open road. Harley-Davidson and an American Hero
Fri, 07 Dec 2012As motorcyclists, we’re drawn to the freedom two wheels represent; just man, machine and the open road. The feeling rings true today as it did 72 years ago, when Wallace Van Sandt, of Birmingham, Alabama, took delivery of his 1941 Harley-Davidson WLD Special Sport Solo, purchased new in 1940 for $365 (roughly $5800 in today’s money) by his father as a high school graduation gift. The WLD Special Sport Solo was a ringer in its day.
EBR Nation Part 3: Made In America
Wed, 10 Aug 2011Erik Buell Racing has released the third episode of its series about the new 1190RS sportbike. The latest episode focuses on the company’s “Made in America” philosophy, with its goal of producing a high-performance superbike in the U.S.A. As Erik Buell, racer Geoff May and designer Tony Stefanelli discuss the themes of innovation and freedom, we can’t help but wonder however whether they’re talking about American ideals, or about being out from Harley-Davidson’s umbrella.
Harley-Davidson Ring Saved from a Filthy Fate
Wed, 07 Sep 2011Here’s a story that might seem humorous at first but turns out to be a testament to a man’s love of motorcycling and the memories of a fallen friend. Ed Spalding of Terrace, British Columbia, Canada, and his close friend Roger Bourgoin bought Harley-Davidson motorcycles in 1991. To celebrate their purchases, the two also bought a pair of gold rings.
