2009 Harley-Davidson Road King FLHR, This 2009 Harley-Davidson Road King is one of the few Fire Fighters Limited Edition models that Harley produces each year to celebrate the efforts of our Fire Fighting community. It is distinguished by special badges on its fuel tank. The soul of this bike is pure Road King. It came from the Harley-Davidson factory with Smooth Rim Wire Wheels a good looking upgrade. Electronic Cruise Control is another feature on the bike and after you've tried it you'll be asking, 'How did I ever get along with out this?' Anti-lock brakes are also included. Its drive train is just the way it came from the factory, but some nice chrome bits and pieces like a set of highway pegs. Road Kings are sought after Harleys because they look great and make an outstanding cruising, or touring bike. India Raises Import Duty on Motorcycles to 75%

Jury Dismisses Suit Against Harley-Davidson Over ABS Indicator
Tue, 20 Dec 2011A Sacramento Superior Court jury has dismissed a lawsuit filed against Harley-Davidson involving a 2009 accident that left one of the plaintiffs with severe brain injuries. Judy Wilson was injured in an April 11, 2009, crash after her husband, Jack, locked the rear wheel of his non-ABS equipped 2008 Harley-Davidson Road Glide. The plaintiffs contended they believed their was equipped with ABS because the instrument panel had an ABS indicator icon and from the salesperson’s sales pitch.
2014 Harley-Davidson Sportsters Receive ABS and Keyless Security Options
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson revealed a five-model Sportster lineup for 2014 with some minor updates including new options for ABS and the H-D Smart Security System. The 2014 Sportster line consists of the 883cc SuperLow and Iron 883 and the 1200cc Forty-Eight, Seventy-Two and 1200 Custom. All five models received new brakes, with larger 300mm front rotors replacing the old 292mm discs.
