PICTURE COMING!Embrace darkness on the 2009 FXSTB Night Train, with features like a blacked-out powertrain and wrinkle-black trim on the engine covers, air cleaner, oil tank, rear fender supports, drive belt sprocket and fuel tank console. The long FX front end and narrow 21-inch laced front wheel counter a beefy 200 mm rear tire on a slotted cast disc under a Bobtail fender. Drag bars and forward foot controls create an aggressive posture whether cruising highways or dark alleys. A new low-profile front fender hugs the 21-inch laced front wheel and tire.

Harley-Davidson Goes Low for 2015

Harley-Davidson revealed the new 2015 Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low and Ultra Limited Low, offering what it calls the the lowest seat height of any premium touring motorcycle on the market. Designed with riders 5 feet 7 inches and shorter in mind, the two Low models have a seat height of 25.6 inches from the ground, or 1.7 inches lower than the regular models. The lower seat isn’t the only change to accommodate shorter riders.

The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.

Watching the promo videos that Harley-Davidson puts out does get me pumped.  Harley does however really seem to reinforce the stereotype of a typical Harley rider, I’m not sure if I am cool enough but the new Sportster Forty-Eight looks great!  Harley could use some positive feedback after they announced their Q4 results… Get the Flash Player to see this player.
