2009 Harley-Davidson FLHX Street Glide, 2009 FLHX Street Glide - With a slammed suspension and stripped front fender, its the perfect combination of street custom style and long-haul comfort. A stylishly stripped-down dresser, the Street Glide features lowered rear suspension, a smoked mini-wind deflector, and Tri-line LED lighting at the bottom of the rear fender for a low, lean profile. A traditional “bat wing” fairing holds a 40-watt Advanced Audio System by Harman/Kardon. A stretched, chrome fuel tank console and Streamliner footboards, brake pedal and passenger pegs finish the custom treatment. Newly restyled Black Slotted Disc cast aluminum wheels are exclusive to the Street Glide. A new low-mount license bracket locates the plate below the tail lamp, with new LED illumination. 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring Lineup Updated with Project Rushmore Enhancements
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson announced a number of updates to its touring models, a cumulative result of a product development effort the company dubs Project Rushmore. The enhancements cover several areas, addressing performance, comfort, style and infotainment needs, and will be implemented across eight 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring models: the Road King, Street Glide, Street Glide Special, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Electra Glide Ultra Limited, the Tri-Glide Ultra Classic trike and the CVO Road King and CVO Limited. “Project RUSHMORE has been touched by thousands of people, most of them being our customers and our employees,” says Scott Habegger, Harley-Davidson Director of Motorcycle Planning.
