2009 Harley-Davidson FLHX Street Glide, 2009 FLHX Street Glide - With a slammed suspension and stripped front fender, its the perfect combination of street custom style and long-haul comfort. A stylishly stripped-down dresser, the Street Glide features lowered rear suspension, a smoked mini-wind deflector, and Tri-line LED lighting at the bottom of the rear fender for a low, lean profile. A traditional “bat wing” fairing holds a 40-watt Advanced Audio System by Harman/Kardon. A stretched, chrome fuel tank console and Streamliner footboards, brake pedal and passenger pegs finish the custom treatment. Newly restyled Black Slotted Disc cast aluminum wheels are exclusive to the Street Glide. A new low-mount license bracket locates the plate below the tail lamp, with new LED illumination. Easy Rider 40th Anniversary
Tue, 27 Oct 2009Peter Fonda, who played Wyatt in the 1969 cult classic, Easy Rider, was in Glendale, CA on Friday to help promote the Blu-Ray release of the film which marks the 40th anniversary. The movie was scheduled to be shown at the Love Ride event that was canceled this year, instead the film screened at a local Harley-Davidson dealer. One of the film’s main objective was to expose violence and racism in the U.S. in a negative light but instead it seems that it was taken the wrong way with most, glorifying the lifestyle that was portrayed in the film.
