2009 Harley-Davidson FLHTCU - Electra Glide Ultra Classic, ASK THOMAS FOR DETAILSThe ultimate Touring model from Harley-Davidson, the Ultra Classic Electra Glide is fully equipped for a life on the road. Electronic cruise control, 80-watt Advanced Audio System by Harman/Kardon with passenger sound system, vented fairing lowers and adjustable fairing wind deflectors, luggage liners, and CB radio/intercom are all standard equipment. The Tour-Pak rack has been redesigned with no pierced holes in the tubes for Tour-Pak attachment. The Tour-Pak and saddlebag capacities are increased by five pounds, and it is easier to adjust the Tour-Pak fore and aft for passenger comfort. New features for 2009 include shorty dual antennas that will clear a seven-foot garage door, mid-frame air deflectors that project radiant engine heat away from the rider, and a brighter, long-lasting LED rear fender tip light.

Pope Francis To Auction Harley-Davidson For Charity

During Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations earlier this year, Pope Francis was given not one, but two Harley-Davidsons, a 2013 Heritage Softail Classic and Dyna Super Glide Custom. Not one for gaudy excess (or a motorcycle ride for that matter), Pope Francis has decided to put both up for auction. Specifically, the Pope has donated the bikes to the Caritas charity near Rome.

Marlon Brando Estate Files Suit Against Harley-Davidson

Brando Enterprises, an operating entity that protects the Marlon Brando brand on behalf of the actor’s family, has filed a lawsuit against Harley-Davidson. The suit alleges Harley-Davidson used the legendary actor’s name without a license for a leather riding boot called “The Brando”. “It is interesting that Harley-Davidson – a company that is vigorously protective of its own brand – would seek to exploit an iconic property without benefit of a licensing agreement,” says  Jeffrey I.

2012 Harley-Davidson Seventy-Two and Softail Slim Revealed

As expected, Harley-Davidson pulled the wraps off of two new 2012 models, the ’70s-styled Seventy-Two Sportster (pictured above) and the bobber-styled Softail Slim.
