2008 Harley-Davidson Street Glide , 105th Anniversary Edition (Non-ABS model), fuel-injected 96 cubic inch, 6-speed. 12,941 miles. Purchased from Harley dealership in May 2008 with 1,940 miles; I am second owner. Equipment includes AM/FM radio/CD/Aux. No cruise control, CB radio, GPS, or any other electronics. Rear tire and rear brakes pads replaced at 11,588 miles; all other equipment is original. Modifications include highway pegs, touring seat with quick-release passenger backrest and luggage rack, taller windshield, spoke wheels, RUSH slip-on mufflers, and handlebar-mounted I-pod bracket. NHTSA Launches Recall Look-up by VIN Tool

The new search tool, available at http://www.safercar.gov/vinlookup, allows people to look for recall campaigns by entering Vehicle Identification Numbers.

The bike build project is a collaboration between the Sturgis Buffalo Chip, Sturgis Brown High School, Black Hills Harley-Davidson, Terry Components, Dakota V-Twin and a large group of industry-leading parts sponsors. The program provides the opportunity for Sturgis Brown High School students to learn from leading motorcycle industry professionals in order to create a one-of-a-kind custom motorcycle from a stock Harley-Davidson.
