2008 Harley-Davidson Street Glide , 105th Anniversary Edition (Non-ABS model), fuel-injected 96 cubic inch, 6-speed. 12,941 miles. Purchased from Harley dealership in May 2008 with 1,940 miles; I am second owner. Equipment includes AM/FM radio/CD/Aux. No cruise control, CB radio, GPS, or any other electronics. Rear tire and rear brakes pads replaced at 11,588 miles; all other equipment is original. Modifications include highway pegs, touring seat with quick-release passenger backrest and luggage rack, taller windshield, spoke wheels, RUSH slip-on mufflers, and handlebar-mounted I-pod bracket. In the contest’s three-year history, the combined margin of victory stands at just over two tenths of a second. And last year’s dogfight saw ninth position take the checkered flag less than eight tenths removed from the victory. Each previous contest has developed into a full-blown drafting war, with the class’ evenly matched machinery testing the tactical acumen of its pilots as they negotiate the high banks within inches of one another.
Afghan Heroes tribute Harley MT350
Tue, 29 Nov 2011The above Harley-Davidson MT350 has been created in honor of the UK soldiers killed over the last ten years in the Afghanistan conflict. This particular MT350 was previously used by British forces in Afghanistan and will now act as a memorial for the charity Afghan Heroes. The tribute was created by Paul Ferguson and Martin Turner, and now features the name of each fallen serviceman or woman, accompanied by their age and the date they were killed in action.
A custom Harley-Davidson Street 750
Thu, 29 Jan 2015This amazing motorcycle was built in just four weeks in a workshop located 300 kilometers south of Harley-Davidson's Indian factory. The project came to life thanks to the efforts of Rajputana Customs and H.-D., which provided Street 750 as a donor. The first upgrade to the bike was a Suzuki GSX-R sport fork with stiffer springs and longer travel.
