2008 Harley-Davidson NIGHTROD SE, If you're looking for a Nightrod this one has to be considered. This Nightrod SE is in very good condition with no signs of a drop or crash. The previous owner had some fun with it as evidenced from the scrapes on the lower part of the mufflers! The paint is in nice condition and the fork mounted turn indicators and solo mirror gives this machine a sinister and clean look. In addition there is a passenger backrest, HD tank bra and soft luggage. There are no signs of abuse or neglect and this is a very nice looking bike in super nice shape. There are also a few service records to show the bike has been cared for by a franchised HD retailer. After taking it in on trade we completed a safety inspection and addressed a faulty rear brake switch and replaced it with an OEM switch and bled the rear circuits. 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Data
Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
Harley Recalls 25,000 2014 Touring Models
Wed, 16 Oct 2013Harley-Davidson is acting quickly to address potential safety issues by voluntarily recalling certain 2014 Touring motorcycles equipped with a hydraulic clutch system that may pose a safety issue for riders and/or passengers. The recalls include a Do Not Ride notice to owners and a Do Not Deliver notice to Harley-Davidson dealers until the motorcycle is fixed. “The safety of our customers is our highest priority,” said Tony Wilcox, Harley-Davidson General Manager of Motorcycle New Product Delivery.
