2008 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic FLHTCU, This is one very good looking 2008 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic. Its color scheme is Crimson Red Sunglo/Candy Red Sunglo. It is pretty much a stock Ultra but does have a set of better sounding Harley-Davidson Screamin' Eagle mufflers installed. This bike has a factory installed, fob operated, security system. Its previous owner installed a chrome luggage rack on top of its Tour Pak. A set of highway pegs installed on its engine guard completes the options and accessories list. The drive train is a 96 C.I./6 speed cruise drive transmission. This combo was first introduced in 2007 and lets this FLHTCU cruise effortlessly with a full load of what ever you can load into its saddle bags and Tour Pak. Climb on, hit the road, turn on the four speaker audio system to some 60's Rock (or whatever you like) turn on the cruise control and head for the Sunset. Life is good! Harley Declares Women Riders Month
Tue, 10 Feb 2009Back in July of ’08 Motorcycle.com announced that The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and Nationwide Insurance were working together to mark July as Women’s Motorcycle Month in order to honor the contribution made to history by female riders. This May, Harley-Davidson is staging a series of events in order to celebrate women on two wheels by declaring May, “Women Riders Month.” Some of the Harley-Davidson Women Riders Month initiatives will include special rides in New York City and Milwaukee as well as an attempt to grace the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of women motorcycle riders trained in one weekend. Harley-Davidson dealerships will also be hosting women-only Garage Parties, which consist of informal meetings in an unintimidating environment where women can learn about motorcycling.
