2011 Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight , 2011 Harley Davidson Forty-Eight, 1200cc Mileage: Approximately 4000 miles Extended Service Plan 2nd owner - bought back in December of 2012. Selling this bike for personal reasons. Has under 4000 miles on it. The bike has the following modifications: Vance and Hines Shortshots Staggered Exhaust System 8" z-bars Tank Lift Ignition Relocation Intake: Forcewinder Air Cleaner Smoked Front turn signals Front Fender Removed Sissy Bar 2 Black Leather Saddlebags Chain Guard removed This bike definitely has a cleaned "bobbed" out look. In addition to the modifications, price also includes 2 helmets (full face and 3/4), 6" z-bars and the stock handlebars. Current handlebars are bent inward on the left side, but selling additional handlebars as well for easy replacement. Harley-Davidson Hiring 400 Temporary Workers
Wed, 13 Nov 2013Harley-Davidson is looking for 400 casual workers for its factory in York, Pa., to help with a planned seasonal surge in production. The jobs begin in January 2014 and will run through until the end of May. “When we ramp up production to meet customer demands, it allows us the manufacturing flexibility to build the right bike, the right time for the right person,” Harley-Davidson Spokesperson Bernadette Lauer tells the York Daily Record.
Japanese Bike Shop Giving Away Harley-Davidson with Life-Sized Anime Character
Mon, 15 Apr 2013Japanese shop Bike-O is holding a draw with a rather unique grand prize: a used 2008 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide with a life-sized figure of anime character Fujiko Mine from the long-running anime and manga series “Lupin III“. We’re not sure whether the motorcycle or the statue is supposed to be the bigger prize here, to be honest. Obviously, we’d rather have an actual road-worthy Harley-Davidson Electra Glide with a custom “champagne pink” paint job.
Harley-Davidson Recalls 250,000 Motorcycles for Rear Brake Light Switches
Mon, 24 Oct 2011Harley-Davidson is issuing a recall for 250,757 units from its Touring, CVO Touring and Trike line from model years 2009 – 2012. The rear brake light switch on the models in question may become degraded due to the heat from the exhaust systems. This may affect brake light function and may result in a brake fluid leak.
