2011 Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight , 2011 Harley Davidson Forty-Eight, 1200cc Mileage: Approximately 4000 miles Extended Service Plan 2nd owner - bought back in December of 2012. Selling this bike for personal reasons. Has under 4000 miles on it. The bike has the following modifications: Vance and Hines Shortshots Staggered Exhaust System 8" z-bars Tank Lift Ignition Relocation Intake: Forcewinder Air Cleaner Smoked Front turn signals Front Fender Removed Sissy Bar 2 Black Leather Saddlebags Chain Guard removed This bike definitely has a cleaned "bobbed" out look. In addition to the modifications, price also includes 2 helmets (full face and 3/4), 6" z-bars and the stock handlebars. Current handlebars are bent inward on the left side, but selling additional handlebars as well for easy replacement. Glasgow-based West Coast Harley-Davidson’s customised Bobber style XL1200 Nightster screams style and individuality, with a Harley-Davidson Factory Radical Paint set and a host of added accessories. Named Devil’s Infantry, the paint kit on the striking machine is one of just five across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
2014 Harley-Davidson Sportsters Receive ABS and Keyless Security Options
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson revealed a five-model Sportster lineup for 2014 with some minor updates including new options for ABS and the H-D Smart Security System. The 2014 Sportster line consists of the 883cc SuperLow and Iron 883 and the 1200cc Forty-Eight, Seventy-Two and 1200 Custom. All five models received new brakes, with larger 300mm front rotors replacing the old 292mm discs.
CARB Reveals 2014 Harley-Davidson Models, Including Some “Cool” Surprises
Fri, 16 Aug 2013The California Air Resource Board has issued executive orders on a number of 2014 Harley-Davidson models, revealing much of the Motor Company’s upcoming product lineup. While most of the models listed are familiar, the documents do reveal some gems including possible signs of the long-rumored new liquid-cooled Harley-Davidson engine. The first and least surprising reveal is the disappearance of the 1584cc Twin Cam 96 engine.
