With the new standard Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI) system, new gauges and handlebar wiring, the 50th Anniversary Sportster stands out in the tradition of previous commemorative Harley-Davidson models. Special features include gold 50th tank emblem, serialized bar clamp nameplate with 50th logo, H logo silk screening on side cover and embroidered seat marking 50 years of production. Paying tribute to a legend, the Anniversary Sportster is offered in two appropriate commemorative colors, Mirage Orange and Vivid Black. Production will be limited to 2,000 motorcycles. The Hydra-Glide name celebrates its 75th anniversary, dating back to the first hydraulic fork that was equipped to a Harley-Davidson, replacing the springer front end in 1949, while the “slash” fuel tank design, emblem, classic round air filter cover, two-toned windshield, seat, and cases, are all nods to the 1956 FLH. The Motor Company dropped a short music-themed teaser video titled “Instrument of Expression,” to promote the announcement, and offer a few tantalizing glimpses of the new model. Harley-Davidson Street 750 Featured in New Captain America Film
