2007 Harley-Davidson XL 883C Sportster, LIMITED QUARTERLY COLOR SPORSTER - ANYTHING THAT LOOKS THIS GOOD IS GOING TO ATTRACT COMPANY. For most riders, the Sportster has a pure seat-of-the-pants appeal. No doubt a function of all that internal combustion happening right beneath your seat. But that doesn’t mean the eyes can’t join the fun, which is why we build the 883 Custom. A chrome bullet headlight leads the way, followed by a flat handlebar on pullback risers. A 4.5-gallon fuel tank adds some meat to the clean custom profile. You get a powder-coat treatment on the engine, and forward controls for an easy-going riding posture. And up top, a two-up seat. Fri, 26 Jun 2009Michael Jackson was not known for riding motorcycles, he did own a 2001 Harley-Davidson that was on the action block earlier this year that was listed for $6,000 – $8,000, I never heard if it was sold or not. We all have our different opinions about the mega pop star but we can all agree that he was larger than life and truly a boy in a mans body, case in point, take a look at the “Speed Demon” video that features Jackson on a bicycle, motorcycle and scooter, sort of… The “Speed Demon” video is available after the jump. Storm Tears Facade Off Colorado Harley-Davidson Dealership
Tue, 09 Apr 2013A Harley-Davidson dealership in Pueblo, Colo., suffered some serious damage after heavy winds from a spring storm ripped off the wall of the dealership’s second floor. The 34,000 square-foot Outpost Harley-Davidson dealership on I-25 in Pueblo usually features a high front wall that sticks up above the building’s gable roof (see the “before” picture below). The damage occurred early in the morning and it’s not clear at this point if anyone was around when it happened.
Tsunami-Tossed Harley-Davidson from Japan Washes Up in Canada
Mon, 30 Apr 2012A shipping container holding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle with Japanese plates was discovered on a beach in British Columbia, Canada. The container, which appears to be the cargo area of a box truck, is believed to be one of the first notable pieces of debris set adrift by the 2011 Japanese tsunami to land in North America. Beachcomber Peter Mark discovered the containerwhile riding his ATV along an isolated beach on Graham Island, an island south of the Alaskan Panhandle.
